On the afternoon of November 28, the People's Committee of Mui Ne Ward, Lam Dong Province issued a document requesting the temporary suspension of business and trading activities in the sea embankment area along Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street in Ham Tien 1 Quarter.
Accordingly, due to the bad weather causing big waves, leading to serious damage and landslides on the sea embankment along Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, from house number 165 to house number 177.
Up to now, Mr. Tran Hai Anh, Vice Chairman of Mui Ne Ward People's Committee, stated that due to big waves, the landslide location is likely to expand to about 500m in length, directly affecting the operations of service businesses along the seashore of Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street.
To ensure the safety of people and property and while waiting for the seawall to be repaired, the People's Committee of Mui Ne Ward requests that service businesses on the sea side of Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, from Mr. Crab Restaurant - Facility 2 to Thanh Oanh Restaurant, temporarily suspend business operations from November 28 until further notice.
In particular, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ward Tran Hai Anh emphasized that more than 10 individuals and organizations have construction projects on the embankment area in the sea embankment area of Ham Tien 1 quarter, directly affecting the embankment structure, posing a risk of insecurity when large waves impact, urgently dismantling the violating construction part no later than November 30, 2025. In the coming time, the ward will continue to inspect cases of illegal construction to protect the embankment structure.
