Lam Dong: Donating 50 wheelchairs to the disabled and victims of Agent Orange

On the morning of August 4, at the headquarters of the Binh Thuan Red Cross Society (old), the People's Committee of Phan Thiet Ward and the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with the WheelChair Foundation and VNARP to present 50 wheelchairs to people with disabilities and Agent Orange victims in especially difficult circumstances in the province.

At the program, 50 wheelchairs were given to people with disabilities and Agent Orange victims in difficult circumstances who cannot move around on their own in the province, with a total value of 400 million VND. This program is sponsored by the Wheelchair Foundation and VNARP - USA with the desire to encourage the spirit and facilitate the movement of people with disabilities and Agent Orange victims in daily life.

In Vietnam, over the past 20 years, the Wheelchair Foundation has donated nearly 15,000 wheelchairs to people with disabilities and Agent Orange victims in difficult circumstances in provinces and cities.

50 disabled people and Agent Orange victims in difficult circumstances in the province were happy and moved to receive wheelchairs.
