On August 7, Lam Dong Provincial Police announced that the unit had launched a peak period of exchanging party membership cards on the basis of the national database on population, identification and electronic authentication. This is the time to collect and authenticate party members' identities, build a database of party organizations and party members to meet the requirements of the Party's management work.

In the first days, nearly 3,000 party members came to reception points in the province to complete procedures to register for party membership cards with electronic chips, using personal identification numbers.

In order to facilitate cadres and party members, especially elderly party members and those from remote areas, to exchange their cards, Lam Dong Provincial Police and other units and localities have established 5 locations in the province, with hundreds of cadres and soldiers on duty day and night, receiving and carrying out card exchange procedures.

In addition, the provincial police established 3 more mobile teams and 8 working groups to inspect, urge and guide officers and soldiers to perform most effectively.

To successfully complete this peak period, leaders of Lam Dong Provincial Police visited card exchange reception points, inspected, grasped difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process and provided specific instructions.

In addition, the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order, Provincial Police sent a working group to check the stability of the transmission line, file processing time and operational efficiency of each stage.

Instruct the police at the commune and ward levels to collect, review and compare personal information of party members with population data in the national population database system to ensure that information is consistent, accurate, and in accordance with technical procedures and Party regulations. Thereby, helping procedures to be carried out quickly and transparently, creating convenience for cadres and party members.

It is known that the peak period of exchanging party membership cards will last until August 15, with the goal of issuing party membership cards to 100% of official party members in the province.
