Lam Dong: Searching for the excavator truck that broke the cable, causing an accident for a motorcyclist

The moment a truck passed through the roundabout at the intersection of Ly Thuong Kiet - National Highway 20 (Di Linh commune) and broke a telecommunication cable.

On August 4, the leader of the People's Committee of Di Linh commune ( Lam Dong ) said that the commune's functional forces are investigating and clarifying the case of a truck pulling and breaking a telecommunications cable, causing a motorcyclist to get caught in it and fall onto the road.

The incident occurred in the early morning of August 3. A truck (license plate and driver unknown) carrying an excavator reached the roundabout at the intersection with National Highway 20 in Di Linh Commune (Lam Dong Province), when the excavator’s rear part got stuck and broke a telecommunication cable, causing it to fall onto the road. The truck driver then continued driving.

At about 5:24 a.m. the same day, Mr. LVA (64 years old, residing in Di Linh commune) was driving a motorbike to the above intersection when he got caught in a cable, fell onto the road, was injured, and had to be hospitalized for emergency treatment.

Immediately afterwards, Mr. LVA was taken to Lam Dong General Hospital for emergency treatment in a collapsed lung condition. The victim is currently out of danger.

Upon receiving the news, Di Linh commune authorities were present at the scene, organized an investigation, searched for the car and truck driver involved in the incident to clarify and handle according to regulations.
