Lam Ha improves the quality of inspection and supervision

Over the past year, the Inspection Committees at all levels in Lam Ha district have always closely followed the political tasks of Party committees at all levels to carry out inspection and supervision work. Thereby, contributing to stabilizing the political situation, preventing moral and lifestyle degradation of Party members, strengthening discipline and order, creating solidarity and unity within the Party.

The work of building the Party and political system was seriously carried out by the Party Committee and grassroots Party cells of Lam Ha district and achieved many important results.

Identifying that the inspection and supervision work in the Party has a special position, role and importance in the Party building work, every year, the Standing Committee of Lam Ha District Party Committee has proactively developed and implemented the inspection and supervision program and directed the District Party Committee's Inspection Commission, Party building committees, and grassroots Party cells and committees to develop inspection and supervision programs suitable to the actual situation and political tasks of each locality, agency and unit. Thereby contributing to improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization and the contingent of cadres and Party members.

Lam Ha District Party Committee has 50 grassroots party organizations (21 grassroots party committees, 29 grassroots party cells), 307 party cells directly under the grassroots party committees with 4,646 party members. Currently, the entire District Party Committee has 21 grassroots party committee inspection committees with 77 members and 32 party cell committee members (party members) in charge of inspection work of grassroots party cells.

In recent times, the Inspection Committees at all levels from district to grassroots have always paid attention to thoroughly grasping and implementing resolutions, directives, conclusions, regulations and instructions of all levels on inspection, supervision and Party discipline work to cadres and Party members in the Party Committee. At the same time, they have issued documents to direct the Inspection Committees at the same level to implement inspection and supervision work; improve the quality and effectiveness of inspection, supervision and Party discipline. In addition, they have proactively developed the inspection and supervision program for 2024 and closely followed the requirements of political tasks, Party building work, the actual situation of localities, agencies, units and organizations to implement according to the proposed program. Along with that, they have seriously carried out the work of summarizing, summarizing, evaluating and drawing experiences, proposing solutions to overcome limitations and weaknesses to effectively perform the inspection, supervision and Party discipline enforcement tasks.

In 2024, the Standing Committee of Lam Ha District Party Committee and grassroots Party committees inspected 58 Party organizations and 641 Party members; of which, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee inspected 5/5 Party organizations and 5/5 Party members. Thereby, 57 Party organizations performed well in the inspection content; 1 Party organization did not perform well in the inspection content, had violations and shortcomings but not to the extent of requiring discipline; 614 Party members performed well in the inspection content, 27 Party members did not perform well in the inspection content, had shortcomings and violations but not to the extent of requiring discipline. During the year, thematic supervision was carried out on 44 Party organizations and 269 Party members; of which, the Standing Committee of Lam Ha District Party Committee supervised 8/8 Party organizations and 8/8 Party members. Thereby, 44 Party organizations and 269 Party members performed well in the supervised content.

The Party Inspection Committees at all levels in Lam Ha District Party Committee have conducted inspections when there were signs of violations against 2 Party organizations and 7 Party members; inspected 42 Party organizations in performing the tasks of inspection, supervision and enforcement of Party discipline; inspected the Party financial management and collection and use of Party fees for 42 Party organizations; inspected the declaration of assets and income for 36 Party members; and conducted specialized supervision of 34 lower-level Party organizations and 60 Party members.

During the year, the Lam Ha District Party Committee's Inspection Committee received 29 petitions, letters of reflection, denunciation, and recommendations. After classification, 7 petitions were transferred to competent authorities for settlement, 15 petitions were resolved according to authority, and 7 petitions were kept (not under the jurisdiction to resolve, have been resolved by other agencies, have no basis for resolution, and are anonymous).

The entire Lam Ha District Party Committee disciplined 1 Party organization and 34 Party members; of which, Party committees at all levels disciplined 21 Party members; reprimanded 13 Party members, warned 2 Party members, and expelled 6 Party members. Inspection Commissions at all levels disciplined 13 Party members; of which, Lam Ha District Party Committee's Inspection Commission disciplined 10 Party members, and grassroots Party committees' Inspection Commission disciplined 3 Party members; reprimanded 6 Party members, warned 2 Party members, and expelled 5 Party members.

With the motto of "Taking prevention as the main thing, conducting extensive supervision, and inspecting with focus and key points", through inspection and supervision work, advantages have been assessed, limitations and shortcomings have been discovered; Party organizations, cadres and party members have been promptly reminded. At the same time, Party organizations and party members who have violated have been detected, reviewed and strictly disciplined. Through inspection, supervision and Party discipline work, the role and responsibility in leadership and direction of Party committees and organizations at all levels have been gradually enhanced. Thereby, promoting the vanguard and exemplary role of cadres and party members, maintaining discipline, strengthening discipline within the Party, improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party, consolidating the trust of cadres, party members and people in the leadership and management of Party committees and authorities at all levels.

Ms. Giap Thi Thuy - Head of the Inspection Committee of Lam Ha District Party Committee said: "Although the inspection and supervision work has had many changes in recent times, there are still some limitations such as some Party committees, Party organizations, and leaders of grassroots Party committees have not really focused and determined in leading, directing and organizing the implementation of inspection and supervision work. Besides, the progress of implementing some tasks is still slow compared to the set plan, the determination of content and objects of inspection and supervision is still scattered, not focused, not focused on areas prone to violations, not associated with the leaders...".

The Chairman of the Lam Ha District Party Committee's Inspection Commission affirmed that the inspection and supervision aims to fight against and repel the degradation of political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, manifestations of "self-evolution, self-transformation" within the Party and fight against corruption, waste and negativity.
