Lam Dong Provincial Party Secretary presented 2 billion VND to support Nghe An in overcoming the consequences of storms and floods

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, comrade Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province, directly presented the donation to Nghe An province.

On the morning of October 21, in Hanoi , within the framework of the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly, comrade Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, directly presented 2 billion VND to support the people of Nghe An province to overcome the damage caused by storms and floods.

Also attending were comrade Phan Dinh Trac, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, comrade Dang Hong Sy, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrades Duong Khac Mai, Nguyen Huu Thong, Deputy Heads of the Delegation and XV National Assembly Deputies of Lam Dong province.

Receiving the support, Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province expressed her deep gratitude to the Party Committee, government and people of Lam Dong; affirming that this is a valuable and timely source of encouragement, showing the sharing sentiment, helping Nghe An gain more determination to overcome difficulties, restore production and stabilize people's lives.

In recent days, due to the impact of two storms No. 10 (Bualoi) and No. 11 (Matmo), many provinces in the Central region, including Nghe An, have suffered heavy losses in terms of human lives and property. Hundreds of houses have collapsed and been deeply flooded; thousands of hectares of crops and livestock have been swept away; and people's lives have fallen into misery.

Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, all cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, armed forces, businesses and people of Lam Dong province have actively donated and supported the people of the Central region affected by natural disasters. From the land of Lam Dong in the Central Highlands - South Central region, hearts towards the Central region have gathered in concrete actions, spreading solidarity and compatriotism.
