Accordingly, former Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili decided to spend 30 million lari (Georgian currency, equivalent to 10 million euros) as a bonus for the entire team. He emphasized that the home team had "won a historic and dream victory".

Not only that, billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili also announced a bonus of another 10 million euros if Georgia wins against Spain in the Euro 2024 round of 16 match.

It should be added that the 10 million euros that the Georgian team will receive is even larger than the amount the Euro 2024 champion will receive. In this year's tournament, UEFA will pay 331 million euros in prize money to 24 teams, equal to the prize money in Euro 2020. Of which, the champion of the tournament will receive 8 million euros, the runner-up will receive 5 million euros.
