(Chinhphu.vn) - On the morning of December 1, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha chaired a meeting with ministries and branches on preparations for the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremonies of large-scale and meaningful projects and works to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party.

According to the report of the Ministry of Construction , by November 30, the Ministry had compiled 232 projects and works of ministries, branches, localities, corporations and general companies in 34 provinces and cities that are eligible to start construction and inaugurate.

Of which, 149 projects and works were started; 83 projects were inaugurated. The total investment of the projects and works is 1,123,700 billion VND.

The Ministry of Construction proposed 79 online and live TV broadcasting points at large-scale, meaningful projects and works, connecting other projects and works in ministries, branches, provinces and cities. Of the 79 points, 34 are expected to have the participation of leaders of the Party, State, National Assembly , Vietnam Fatherland Front, Government leaders, Ministers, and heads of ministerial-level agencies.

In addition to the 79 above-mentioned locations, other event venues have screens set up to watch the program live on VTV1 and simultaneously perform groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies according to the main location.

At the meeting, leaders of ministries and branches requested the Ministry of Construction to clearly classify the scale and significance of each project, select truly typical projects, and ensure consistency in the synthesis of the project list.

In addition, delegates discussed the organization of the bridge points and program scenarios, requiring clear identification of the central bridge points, and perfecting the method of introducing the project to create a continuous communication circuit.

Regarding emulation and reward work, many opinions say that reward proposals must be closely reviewed to ensure objectivity.

Concluding the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the event was held at a time when the implementation of national strategic tasks was summarized over 5 years, especially breakthroughs in infrastructure development, socio-economy, education, healthcare, national defense and security, etc.; and to welcome the 14th National Party Congress.

Therefore, the Ministry of Construction urgently prepared documents for the event, fully evaluated the results, achievements, difficulties and challenges overcome; emphasized outstanding contributions, policies to remove and innovate mechanisms; drew lessons, and oriented for the next 5-year period.

The Ministry of Construction takes the lead and coordinates with ministries and branches to review and orient key projects, ensuring criteria, scale and spread.

Ministries, branches and localities propose large projects and works, ensuring comprehensive coverage in all areas: Infrastructure, economy, education, health, energy, agriculture, environment, culture, sports, etc.

Regarding the event scenario and program, the Ministry of Construction coordinated with Vietnam Television, VNPT, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Ministry of Science and Technology to develop detailed scenarios for 34 connecting points, prioritizing the selection of typical works as central connecting points.

The event must ensure the dissemination, comprehensiveness, and comprehensiveness of the works, demonstrating the socio-economic contributions and efforts of state management agencies; at the same time honoring artists and typical individuals who have contributed to cultural, socio-economic development.

Commenting on the emulation and commendation work, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that this is an occasion to summarize the 5 years comprehensively. The Ministry of Construction coordinates with the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Emulation and Commendation Committee, ministries, branches and localities to compile a list of worthy works, collectives and individuals, ensuring their symbolic and typical character.

Records, reports and project portfolios must be completed promptly to ensure events and awards are not delayed.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremonies of large-scale, meaningful projects and works to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress are important events, comprehensively reflecting the past five years and creating a new momentum.

Ministries, branches and localities must seriously and proactively implement to ensure work is completed before December 19.
