For the first time, a beauty pageant in Vietnam has a livestream sales competition.

On the afternoon of June 3, at the press conference to launch the Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 contest in Ho Chi Minh City, the Organizing Committee (OC) announced many new points for this year's season.

The Organizing Committee said the criteria for contestants will remain the same as last year. However, this year's format will closely follow the Miss Grand International and the host Miss Grand Thailand contests with many changes.

Notably, for the first time in Vietnam, there is a new Best Seller contest. (Online sales). Contestants will livestream sales and prizes will be calculated based on sales at the end of the contest. Accordingly, the Best Seller award is one of the innovations that has received much attention from Miss Grand Thailand in recent years.

Mr. Hoang Nhat Nam - General Director of Miss Grand Vietnam said that following the Miss Grand International contest brings advantages to Vietnamese contestants in the international arena.

“We are not sure if Miss Grand International will have a Best Seller competition, but following the host competition Miss Grand Thailand is also a good preparation for the Vietnamese representative. Moreover, in the era of 4.0 sales, giving contestants exposure to this method is also an opportunity for them to experience new jobs, who knows, they will be able to apply it after the competition ends,” Mr. Hoang Nhat Nam shared.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also decided to organize the Grand Voice Awards competition to find musical talents. This is also the first time within the framework of Miss Grand Vietnam 2024, the beauties have the opportunity to show off their singing ability to the audience.

The jury of Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 includes: People's Artist Vuong Duy Bien and beauty queens: Ha Kieu Anh, Thuy Tien, Le Hoang Phuong, Doan Thien An, supermodel Minh Tu, actor Quoc Truong.

The competition is scheduled to take place in July and August. The venue is Binh Thuan with many highly anticipated competitions. The new beauty queen will be the girl who meets all the necessary criteria to enter the international arena of Miss Grand International 2024.

According to the Organizing Committee, Miss Grand International 2027 will choose Vietnam to host.
