According to a representative of Kyo Food store on Nguyen Van Linh street ( Hai Duong city), this year's Doan Ngo festival, the store plans to sell about 150 kg of sticky rice wine, priced at about 45,000 VND/box (500g).

Many offerings for the Duanwu Festival are available, including sticky rice wine, banh gio, banh com, fruits, fresh flowers... priced from 200,000 - 250,000 VND/tray.

Plums and lychees are the most popular fruits during this time. Plums cost 60,000 VND/kg, lychees cost from 45,000 - 70,000 VND/kg depending on the type.

Eating duck meat on the occasion of the Duanwu Festival is a traditional custom, so this item sells quite well. According to Ms. Pham Thi Hoa, a trader at Dong Ngo Quyen market, on May 30 (ie the 4th day of the 5th lunar month), the number of people buying duck meat increased 3 times compared to normal days, the price of duck meat was 70,000 VND/kg, an increase of 5,000 VND/kg compared to many previous days.

Gio cake is also chosen by many people with the price of about 50,000 VND/10 pieces.

Beautifully arranged plates of flowers and betel and areca nuts cost about 40,000 VND/plate.
