From September 7 to September 22, at Vincom Center for Contemporary Arts, the Korean webtoon comic exhibition (K-Comics World tour) will take place.
The exhibition introduces the original content and images in two webtoon works "Itaewon Class" by author KwangJin and "Sweet Home " by authors Kim Carnby and Hwang Youngchan.
These two works have been adapted into TV series and ranked in the top 1 most favorite movies on Netflix in Vietnam in 2020.

According to the organizers, the exhibition simulates the model of the pub, the Itaewon alley in the work "Itaewon Class" and the abandoned apartment building and monsters inside the work "Sweet Home". Coming to the exhibition, visitors will have a real experience as if they were standing in the space of the work.
This exhibition also includes experiential activities such as coloring webtoons, stamping webtoon postcards, experiencing recipes for dishes in Korean pubs, taking photos of transforming into monsters, a webtoon library, experiencing Korean school uniforms that often appear in webtoons...
Previously, as part of a series of activities under the Korean webtoon exhibition program in Vietnam, a webtoon drawing contest with the theme “What are Vietnam and Korea to you?” took place from August 13 to 28. This contest will award prizes at the exhibition opening ceremony on September 7.
On September 8, author KwangJin of the popular webtoon “Itaewon Class” will also interact with readers and perform some songs from the film.
The organizers also said that this exhibition not only has programs for visitors but also has a business connection program for businesses operating in the webtoon comic industry.
According to Mr. Choi Seung Jin, Director of the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam, the actual survey results on the Hallyu wave in 2023 show that webtoons are the Hallyu content with the highest consumption in Vietnam.
