According to USA Today, as protests against the immigration crackdown in Los Angeles are about to enter their sixth day, many protests are also taking place in a series of other major cities across the United States.
Local news agencies and police departments said protests have broken out in at least 10 cities, including San Francisco, New York, Washington, Boston, Dallas, Chicago and Atlanta,... in recent days.
Protesters gathered outside the courthouse and local immigration offices. Most of the protests were peaceful , but some escalated into clashes with police, and several violent protesters were arrested.

Under the direction of US President Donald Trump, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is carrying out a campaign to crack down on undocumented immigrants in the US. This has led to protests in many places across the country.
In Los Angeles, protests have been going on since June 6 and have not cooled down. President Trump has ordered the deployment of about 4,000 National Guard troops and hundreds of Marines to Los Angeles to respond to the protests, despite objections from California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass.

In Washington DC, hundreds of people gathered outside the Justice Department and FBI buildings, marching through the streets to protest the ICE raid and the arrest of David Huerta, President of the California branch of the Employees International Union (SEIU), in Los Angeles on June 6.
In Dallas, one person was arrested after police declared the protest illegal, CBS News Texas reported. In Austin, Texas, police fired less-lethal rounds and arrested several people as they clashed with a crowd of several hundred protesters.
Meanwhile, more than 30 people were arrested in New York City on June 9.
