On May 3, at Lang Le Cultural Park (Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City), the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association in collaboration with the Vietnam Institute of Buddhist Studies organized the opening ceremony of the exhibition and award ceremony of the art photography contest with the theme "Buddhist Wisdom: Human Dignity and Peace".

The art photography contest aims to honor sacred moments, spreading the message of compassion, wisdom and peace of Buddhism to the community. The contest is one of a series of unique cultural and artistic activities to celebrate the United Nations Day of Vesak 2025, associated with the theme of the Festival "Solidarity and tolerance for human dignity: Buddhist wisdom for world peace and sustainable development”.

Through the lens of photography, Buddhist values ​​are aroused and spread to the international community, making practical contributions to the cause of peace and sustainable development of the world.

After more than two months of launching, the Organizing Committee received a total of nearly 1,500 works from more than 210 authors. At the award ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to 12 best works, selecting 107 typical works for exhibition. The winning and exhibited photos demonstrate high technical level, the ability to capture unique moments, combining light, composition, and expression to fully convey spiritual messages and humanistic values.

The photo exhibition runs until May 9.
