Spreading reading culture from mobile library vehicles

On November 13, Lam Dong Provincial Library coordinated with the Cultural and Sports Center of Cu Jut commune to organize a mobile library service in response to the lifelong learning week at schools in the commune.

The mobile library has become a useful playground and healthy space, helping students of Cu Jut commune access many good books, expand their knowledge and nurture their love of reading.

At the schools, the Provincial Library displays and serves readers nearly 3,000 books of various genres such as literature, children's literature, life skills, and reference books suitable for the curriculum. Along with that, there are exciting exchange and entertainment activities such as: knowledge quizzes, drawing and coloring by topic, writing feelings after reading books, attracting a large number of students to participate.

Through these activities, the mobile library not only provides opportunities to access knowledge but also fosters students' need and interest in reading, helping them form the habit of exploring and discovering the world through each page of a book.

Besides, the program also contributes to raising awareness among students and people about the meaning and importance of reading in education and personality formation.

The mobile library vehicle operation also promotes the effectiveness of the multimedia library vehicle model, promoting the propaganda, circulation and service of books and newspapers from the Provincial Library to schools. Thereby, gradually building reading habits, self-study spirit, proactiveness and creativity in learning, contributing to improving the quality of education and promoting the lifelong learning movement in the community.
