Spreading culture, connecting the community at Khanh Hoa Book Festival 2025

Khanh Hoa Book Festival 2025 with the message 'Spreading culture - connecting the community' is one of the events within the framework of the 2025 Sea Culture - Tourism Festival.

On the afternoon of June 6, at Khanh Hoa Provincial Library (Nha Trang City), Khanh Hoa Book Festival 2025 officially opened with a colorful parade of literary characters.

The highlight of the festival is the book exhibition space and many attractive and interesting reading culture experiences waiting for readers to visit, learn and explore .

With 18 booths displaying, introducing and selling books at preferential prices from publishers, book distribution companies, universities and provincial libraries such as Phuong Nam Retail Company Limited, Sbooks Joint Stock Company, Mee & More Company Limited, FPT Company, bringing a variety of books from classical literature, science, travelogues to life skills books. In addition, there is also the companionship of libraries from 10 provinces and cities: Khanh Hoa, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Ninh Thuan , Binh Thuan, Lam Dong and Thai Nguyen.

The exhibition space is designed to be eye-catching with thematic areas on Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa photo books, children's comics, Vietnamese literature and Champa culture. In particular, the collection "Old books of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa" has high historical value, helping visitors understand more deeply about the land and local people; or the corner introducing new works and interacting with authors creates a bridge between writers and readers.

The organizers of the book festival said that it is not only about displaying books but also has many rich cultural activities. The exchanges with writers Mi Dung and Dang Thien Phong bring sincere and inspiring career stories. The "EQ Literature" workshop with art activities, face painting, hand sewing of scrap fabric... is suitable for the Gen Z generation.

Mee & More's science experience area turns the library into a "science playground" with 7 exciting activity stations: panning for minerals like a geologist, hunting and classifying gemstones, making natural sand paintings, exploring minerals through a microscope, traveling through space with virtual reality glasses, and touching a 23-million-year-old Megalodon shark fossil.
