12 Central Highlands golf clubs compete in Nha Trang

As part of the 2025 Sea Culture and Tourism Festival, on June 7, the Organizing Committee of the 4th Central Highlands Golf Championship 2025 held a tournament introduction and draw in Nha Trang City (Khanh Hoa).

Officially starting on July 19-20 at Diamond Bay Nha Trang Golf Course, this year's tournament brings together 12 golf clubs representing provinces and cities in the region including: Khanh Hoa, Quang Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Da Nang, Binh Dinh, Thua Thien Hue, Binh Thuan, Ha Tinh, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai and Lam Dong.

This is a playground for amateur golfers, competing in a team competition format. The tournament structure includes: 4 groups for men (A, B, C, D) with Handicap Index from 0.0 to 20.0 and 2 groups for women (A, B) with Handicap Index from 0.0 to 23.9.

The men's teams compete in Fourball and Single Match, while the women's teams compete in Single Match. Each men's team has a maximum of 16 main players and 4 substitutes; the women's team has 4 main players and 2 substitutes.

Mr. Pham Truong Tho, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Golf Association, said: "The tournament is not only a top sports playground, but also a bridge to exchange and promote the unique cultural beauty of each locality. In particular, this is also an opportunity to promote golf tourism and form a united, professional and increasingly strong Central Highlands golf community. Through each season, the spirit of fair-play, healthy sports lifestyle and passion for golf have spread strongly in the region".

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province, emphasized: "The 2025 Central Highlands Golf Championship is a meaningful sporting event, not only contributing to the development of the golf movement but also an opportunity to promote the image of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism to a large number of domestic and foreign tourists. With the enthusiastic participation of athletes and the companionship of golf associations in the region, I believe that the tournament will spread the spirit of noble sportsmanship, connect the community and leave good impressions about the people and land of Khanh Hoa in the hearts of friends near and far".
