Record the time the business owner has paid compulsory social insurance before July 1, 2025

(Chinhphu.vn) - The National Assembly Standing Committee has issued Resolution No. 78/2025/UBTVQH15 on recording the compulsory social insurance payment period of business household owners who participated before the effective date of the Social Insurance Law No. 41/2024/QH15.

Record the time the business owner has paid compulsory social insurance before July 1, 2025

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly recorded the period of time that business owners paid compulsory social insurance before July 1, 2025 as a basis for settling social insurance regimes according to the provisions of the law on social insurance.

Business household owners who have met the conditions for enjoying social insurance benefits before the effective date of this Resolution shall be entitled to enjoy social insurance benefits from the date of meeting the conditions for enjoying social insurance benefits according to regulations.

The National Assembly Standing Committee assigns the Government to direct and guide the implementation of this Resolution; proactively resolve problems arising in the implementation; ensure the rights of business owners in resolving social insurance regimes; report the results of the implementation of this Resolution in the report on the implementation of social insurance policies and regimes and the management and use of social insurance funds according to the provisions of the Law on Social Insurance.

The Nationalities Council , the National Assembly Committees, the National Assembly delegations, the National Assembly deputies and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, within the scope of their tasks and powers, shall supervise the implementation of this Resolution.

This Resolution comes into force from July 1, 2025./.
