PVCFC: TOP 5 Enterprises leading ASEAN ACGS scorecard

(Chinhphu.vn) - On June 6, within the framework of the program organized by the Vietnam Institute of Directors (VIOD) with the accompaniment of the State Securities Commission (SSC), Ca Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (PVCFC, HOSE: DCM) was honored to be in the Top 5 Enterprises with the highest ranking on the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) 2024.

Good governance to develop the business further. This achievement is not only a worthy recognition for the efforts to make corporate governance transparent and professional at PVCFC, but also clearly demonstrates the pioneering role of the business in meeting international standards, especially in two outstanding criteria: ACGS 2024 assessment results and implementation of the VNCG50 2025 program.

Good governance is the foundation for sustainable business development. ACGS (ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard) is a set of corporate governance assessment standards widely used in ASEAN countries, based on global best practices. In the ACGS 2024 report, PVCFC was recognized for many bright spots in information disclosure, shareholder rights, the role of the Board of Directors and support subcommittees, reflecting the consistency in transparent, equitable and sustainable development-oriented governance policies.

In particular, the publication of the 2024 Annual Report and the 2023 and 2024 Sustainability Reports with full ESG indicators, clear quantitative data and long-term strategic orientations has helped PVCFC achieve high scores in important assessment pillars. This not only strengthens investor confidence but also affirms the determination to deeply integrate with the region.

In 2025, with the VNCG50 program, a cooperation initiative between the State Securities Commission, IFC and VIOD to build a community of 50 typical listed enterprises in corporate governance practices - PVCFC was selected as one of the pioneers to participate in the implementation. This is a strategic step, contributing to further improving the quality of governance and affirming the company's sustainable development orientation in the new period.

Proactively integrating the OECD – G20 good corporate governance code, strengthening the role of internal control, training the Board of Directors, and expanding shareholder dialogue… are proof of PVCFC’s long-term vision and commitment to global standards.

Honoring at this event is an important milestone, affirming that the PVCFC brand is not only steadfast in production and business but also increasingly progressing in transparency, professionalization and sustainable development according to international standards.

With a "solid foundation", PVCFC is gradually realizing its "aspiration to grow" in a "faster and more effective" way. ACGS and VNCG50 are the guiding principles, especially when being honored as Top 5 Enterprises with the highest ranking on the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) in 2024, helping PVCFC continue to affirm its role as a typical public enterprise in the fertilizer industry and a Vietnamese listed enterprise on the ASEAN map.
