- According to statistics from the Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone Management Board, from May 23 (the time of the first batch of lychee exports) to now, the total output of fresh lychee exported through the border gates of Lang Son province is more than 2,385 tons, an increase of more than 1,000 tons compared to the same period in 2024.
In recent times, in order to attract businesses to export fresh lychees through the area, the authorities at the border gates of Lang Son province have continued to flexibly implement a number of measures to create the most favorable conditions for exporting fresh lychees. Therefore, many lychee exporting businesses in some localities have promoted lychee exports to the Chinese market through Lang Son province, mainly through Tan Thanh and Chi Ma border gates.
Currently, relevant agencies of the province including: Dong Dang - Lang Son Economic Zone Management Board, Department of Industry and Trade, Customs Branch VI... have been and are continuing to discuss with the authorities of Guangxi (China) to agree on extending customs clearance time, especially creating a separate customs clearance channel for fresh lychees from Vietnam to shorten the time and ensure the quality of exported lychees.
