According to Dong Nai Provincial Police, the province currently has 471 models of self-management, self-defense, self-protection, and self-reconciliation for maintaining security and order in 95 communes and wards. Of these, 7 effective models have been replicated nationwide by the Ministry of Public Security.

Speaking at the festival, Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen said that in the city, the replication of models and the application of information technology in the movement of the entire people to protect national security has brought about many positive results. The initiatives were highly appreciated by the Ministry of Public Security, and the local police were informed to learn from their experiences (up to now, the city has 18 types of models to ensure security and order with 1,080 model points, of which 9 models are being truly effective and 6 outstanding, typical models have been replicated).
Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen emphasized that maintaining security and order in the city requires the synchronous participation of the entire political system and the people. He requested that the Party Committee, government, and city police force identify the movement of the entire people to protect national security as a key task.
In addition, the city needs to replicate the models of “self-defense, self-management, self-protection” in the community and educational institutions. Encourage youth and student clubs to participate in maintaining security and order. Promote the role of veterans and former police officers in monitoring and reconciling in residential areas.
Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen requested the City Police to play a core role in advising and coordinating the implementation of solutions to ensure security and order, especially after the expansion of administrative boundaries. The police force needs to build a regular, elite team, close to the people; proactively grasp the situation, promptly resolve problems arising at the grassroots level. At the same time, pay attention to praising, rewarding and taking care of the regime for the force participating in protecting security at the grassroots level and the masses who have contributed to the movement.
On this occasion, the Ministry of Public Security awarded 62 collectives and 37 individuals with outstanding achievements; 12 collectives and 13 individuals received certificates of merit from the City People's Committee and the City Police; and presented gifts to 30 outstanding individuals.
