An Phu district leaders inspect key projects

Chairman of An Phu District People's Committee Trang Cong Cuong has just inspected the progress of key projects under the project to upgrade and expand the East Coast Road in Vinh Loc and Vinh Hau communes and surveyed the area to reinforce the landslide on the Hau River bank in Vinh Truong commune (An Phu district).

Vinh Loi bridge project completed over 50% of progress

Accordingly, the working group and local authorities inspected the progress of the project's works, including Hai Hum culvert, Rach Re culvert, Vinh Loi bridge (Vinh Loc commune) and Rach Can Tho bridge (border bridge between Vinh Loc and Vinh Hau communes) invested by the An Phu District Investment and Construction Project Management Board.

Through the assessment of construction progress, up to now, Hai Hum culvert has completed the installation of culverts and backfilling of the culvert, estimated at over 60% of the project volume; Rach Re culvert has completed the installation of culverts, estimated at 40% of the project volume; Vinh Loi bridge has completed piling, 4 pillars, 2 abutments and retaining wall foundations, reaching over 50% of the project volume; Rach Can Tho bridge has completed piling the retaining wall and is mass piling, reaching about 15% of the project volume.

After the inspection, Chairman of An Phu District People's Committee Trang Cong Cuong requested the construction units to concentrate their forces and speed up the progress so that the projects can be completed and put into use as planned. During the construction process, it is necessary to ensure labor safety, progress, and quality; supervise and install a system of barriers and signs at the construction sites and landslide reinforcement areas (Vinh Truong commune) to ensure the safety of people traveling and transporting goods, etc.
