Petrovietnam leaders work with General Electric Company leaders
Attending the working session on Petrovietnam's side were Chairman of the Board of Directors Le Manh Hung, Member of the Board of Directors Tran Binh Minh, Deputy General Director Le Xuan Huyen, along with representatives of leaders of the Group's departments/offices, and leaders of member units.
Overview of the working session
At the meeting, leaders of Petrovietnam and GE exchanged and introduced their information and business areas. GE leaders emphasized that the signing of the MOU between Petrovietnam and GE Digital International LLC (under GE Group) in the field of digital transformation is a major step forward in the development of cooperation between the two sides, based on the foundation of cooperation up to now. On this occasion, GE leaders also discussed with Petrovietnam leaders about the trend of digital transformation and sustainable development in their development orientation, and affirmed that Vietnam is a safe investment destination for American businesses.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrovietnam Le Manh Hung said that Petrovietnam and GE have a lot of potential for cooperation in a number of areas such as power generation, digital transformation at power plants, investment in offshore wind power development, research on the possibility of developing nuclear power, converting fuel to hydrogen and storing and capturing carbon. This is also the development orientation of the Group in the coming period towards the goal of becoming a national industrial - energy group.

Therefore, Chairman of the Board of Directors Le Manh Hung suggested that GE actively cooperate with Petrovietnam in implementing key cooperation projects between the two sides, including accelerating the progress of Nhon Trach 3&4 project and a number of other power projects.
At the same time, the leaders of both sides hope to soon have a joint working group of Petrovietnam and GE to implement the contents signed in the MOU. At the same time, they will continue to research, promote cooperation, and share training support experiences between the parties to aim for mutual development.
