At Khanh Cuong commune, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Duc Tuy acknowledged the synchronous coordination between forces and the drastic participation of local authorities in disaster response. He requested Khanh Cuong commune to continue implementing measures to ensure absolute safety for people and property in the process of responding to storm No. 13; strengthen propaganda about the developments and danger level of the storm, helping people grasp information, proactively prevent and strictly comply with the requirements of functional forces.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council noted that localities must not be subjective or negligent, but must regularly review and update the situation and synchronously deploy plans to prevent and combat natural disasters; in which the safety of people's lives is the top priority. Functional forces must be ready to respond in all situations, minimizing damage caused by storms.
By 4 p.m. the same day, Khanh Cuong commune had completed the evacuation of 391 households with nearly 1,000 people to safe storm shelters.

In Sa Huynh ward, by 3:00 p.m. on November 6, the locality had completed the work of mobilizing people in areas at high risk of being affected by the storm to safe shelters; mobilizing forces to support people in strengthening their houses, protecting their properties, and proactively preventing storms, in order to minimize damage to people and property.

After inspecting the situation in Sa Huynh ward, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Duc Tuy requested local authorities to continue to closely monitor weather developments and absolutely not let people return home when the storm has not completely dissipated; at the same time, arrange forces on duty 24/24 hours to promptly handle arising situations. He emphasized: "Sa Huynh ward needs to focus on ensuring safety for people in coastal areas and boat anchorage areas, proactively develop rescue plans, and be ready to respond before, during and after the storm, to avoid unfortunate damage caused by the storm."

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council also requested local authorities to closely coordinate with departments, branches, police and military forces in storm prevention and avoidance, as well as regularly inspect, grasp the situation, support people to stabilize shelters, and ensure absolute safety for people.
