DTO - On April 25, 2025, comrade Le Quoc Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Thap province led the delegation of the Party, Army, People, and Government of Dong Thap province, together with Mr. Tran Thanh Nam - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tam Nong district led the delegation of the Party, Army, People, and Government of Tam Nong district and officers and soldiers of the Border Guard Command of Dong Thap province, officers, civil servants, public employees, and relatives of martyrs in communes and towns of Tam Nong district to visit Tam Nong Martyrs' Cemetery to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
Provincial leaders offer incense at the altar of the Fatherland, Tam Nong Martyrs Cemetery
Provincial and district leaders and delegates respectfully burned incense at the altar of the Fatherland and observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation and reunification; and burned incense at the martyrs' graves... to express their gratitude to the heroic martyrs.
It is known that Tam Nong Martyrs Cemetery is the resting place of over 5,000 martyrs who died during the resistance wars against France, the US and on the Cambodian border battlefield while performing international duties...
Comrade Le Quoc Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee, burned incense on each martyr's grave at Tam Nong Martyrs Cemetery.
During the historic days of April this year, many delegations from districts and cities in the province and relatives of martyrs outside Dong Thap province visited Tam Nong Martyrs Cemetery. The Party Committee and government of Tam Nong district had many activities to visit, present gifts, and give gratitude houses to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, families with meritorious services to the revolution, etc., demonstrating the morality of gratitude and the noble tradition of the Vietnamese people.
