Long Xuyen City leaders visit and give gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and people with revolutionary contributions

On the afternoon of April 23, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Long Xuyen City Vo Thien Hao led a delegation of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Xuyen City to visit and present gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and people with revolutionary contributions in the city on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Vo Thi Xuan Kieu; Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee Vuong Mai Trinh also participated.

The delegation gave gifts to the families

Accordingly, the delegation visited and presented gifts to 4 people who were war invalids and people infected with toxic chemicals in My Phuoc, My Quy, My Thoi and My Thanh wards. At each destination, on behalf of the delegation, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Long Xuyen City Vo Thien Hao kindly inquired about the health and life of each individual and family. At the same time, he hoped that families with meritorious services to the revolution in the city would continue to promote family traditions, set an example in implementing the Party's policies and the State's laws, actively work and contribute to the socio -economic development of the locality, and be a role model for their children and grandchildren to follow.

Thereby, promoting the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source", showing gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of heroic martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers and people with meritorious services to the revolution in the cause of national liberation, national reunification, building and defending the Fatherland.
