-On the afternoon of December 17th, a delegation from the Provincial People's Committee, led by Mr. Doan Thanh Son, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected the preparations for the opening ceremony of the Huu Nghi Border Gate - Chi Lang expressway project under the BOT model, which will be held on the morning of December 19th, 2025.

Joining the inspection team were leaders from several relevant departments, agencies, and units of the province.

Comrade Doan Thanh Son, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, listened to a report on the program and script for organizing the opening ceremony of the Huu Nghi Border Gate - Chi Lang expressway project.

During the inspection, the working group conducted a site inspection of the event area; checked the stage and ceremonial arrangements for the event; the event script; the plan for entering and exiting the event venue; the reception of delegates; and the security and order arrangements, etc.

According to a preliminary report from the event organizers, preparations for the opening ceremony of the Huu Nghi - Chi Lang border gate expressway project are proceeding according to plan and schedule; logistical and ceremonial arrangements are being meticulously planned; and the beautification of the event area, environmental sanitation, security, traffic management, etc., are being implemented by relevant units and forces in accordance with regulations.

After hearing the report and conducting an on-site inspection, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that the relevant agencies, units, and functional forces of the province, as well as the investor, continue to complete the remaining tasks by the afternoon of December 18th to ensure smooth progress for the opening ceremony of the Huu Nghi Border Gate - Chi Lang expressway project, which will be held on the morning of December 19th.

The Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board proactively coordinated with relevant provincial departments and agencies and the investor to review the event organization plan, as well as the preparations, ceremonial arrangements, logistics, reception, television coverage, etc., for the road opening ceremony; the police force developed a plan for traffic flow management in and out of the event area to ensure safety; and strengthened security and order maintenance.

It is known that the opening ceremony for the Huu Nghi - Chi Lang border gate expressway project will take place on the morning of December 19th at Km44+700 in Nhan Ly commune. The Huu Nghi - Chi Lang border gate expressway project is one of 234 projects nationwide that will simultaneously hold groundbreaking, inauguration, technical opening, and route opening ceremonies on the morning of December 19th. This is a major national event organized to celebrate the 11th National Emulation Congress and the 14th National Party Congress. The ceremony will be held at 79 locations nationwide in a hybrid format, combining live and online participation via video conference.
