Lao Cai has 2 works winning the National Press Award "For the Cause of Vietnamese Education" in 2025

On the evening of November 14, the National Press Award Ceremony "For the Cause of Vietnam Education" 2025 took place in Hanoi. Lao Cai province had 2 works winning the National Press Award "For the Cause of Vietnam Education" 2025.

The national press award "For the cause of Vietnamese Education" was organized by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) in coordination with the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Vietnam Journalists Association. The organization aims to honor authors with outstanding journalistic works on education , and typical groups and individuals with many contributions to education and training.

According to the organizers, this year the award attracted more than 800 entries in four types of journalism: print, electronic, radio and television.

The jury unanimously awarded prizes to 59 best works, including 1 special prize, 4 first prizes, 8 second prizes, 12 third prizes, 32 consolation prizes and 2 outstanding characters.

Lao Cai province was honored to have 2 works by the group of authors of the Provincial Newspaper and Radio and Television winning prizes, including: The work "Miracle in Nu Village", television type by the group of authors Le Trung Kien - Pham Xuan Anh won second prize; the work "Nguoi sows seeds of destiny" by the group of authors Le Thi Hong Ly - Nguyen Quoc Dung - To Dung won the encouragement prize.

The works are a deep gratitude to the teachers in the mountainous areas of Lao Cai, who have been constantly striving to instill a love of learning in generations of students. Each story in the works depicts the rise of both teachers and students in difficult areas, thereby strongly inspiring and encouraging Lao Cai teachers to continue to contribute to spreading knowledge to their compatriots.
