Lao Cai has started construction to demolish nearly 9,200 temporary and dilapidated houses.

Lao Cai focuses all resources on eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses.

Of these, 6,455 have been completed, reaching a rate of 58.5%. Lao Cai aims to complete the remaining 1,843 houses by the end of May.

The province has requested Van Ban, Bac Ha, Bat Xat, Muong Khuong districts and Lao Cai city to focus on and urgently speed up the implementation progress. Muong Khuong district alone still has 1,630 houses that have not been completed, the province has directed that construction of the houses must be completed according to the plan this April. The province will prioritize resources and mobilize human resources from forces in the province to help Muong Khuong complete this goal.
