In the quarter-finals of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup , Bayern Munich showed how to bring PSG back to earth but they still failed due to poor finishing.

After Real Madrid's crushing 0-4 defeat, Chelsea learned even more important lessons.

The path to defeating PSG was shown by Bayern Munich, and Chelsea applied it successfully.

Enzo Maresca has nullified the weapons of his opponents – a team that beat Inter Milan 5-0 in the Champions League final and had a run of 4-0 wins in the FIFA Club World Cup – by making better moves.

Chelsea found inspiration from Robert Sanchez's saves and the brilliance of Cole Palmer, who scored two goals and provided an assist in a thumping 3-0 win.

With this spectacular victory, Chelsea became the first club in history to win all domestic and major international tournaments still being held (including long-distance races, not including the Super Cup).

Specifically, the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Champions League, Europa League, Conference League and the new FIFA Club World Cup titles.

Less than two months ago, Chelsea under Enzo Maresca also became the first team to win all three major UEFA trophies – beating Real Betis 4-1 to win the Conference League.

Winning the final alone brought Chelsea 40 million euros in prize money.

This figure brings the total prize money that the London team will receive at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup to $114.6 million (according to Sports Illustrated; current figures are only estimates, as each participating team receives money according to continent with different criteria).

Meanwhile, runner-up PSG received a total prize money of 106.9 million euros. The next teams include Real Madrid (82.5 million USD), Fluminense (60.8), Bayern Munich (58.2), Borussia Dortmund (52.3), Man City (51.7), Palmeiras (39.8), Inter Milan (36.8).

Al Hilal is the only representative from outside Europe and South America – the two most developed football regions – in the top 10 in terms of prize money. The Saudi Arabian club received $34.2 million.
