Initial information, at about 3:37 a.m. on September 11, at Km1684+600 Ho Chi Minh road, through village 9, Ea H'leo commune, Ea H'leo district, Dak Lak province, a Dak Lak sleeper bus overturned, killing 4 people.
Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ea H'leo district Le Ngoc Hung, who was present at the scene to direct the handling of the accident, said that at the above time, the sleeper bus with license plate 50H-308.53, driven by driver Vo Thanh Hung, born in 1987, residing in group 4, Quang Phu town, Cu M'gar district, Dak Lak province, was carrying about 18-20 passengers on Ho Chi Minh road in the direction from Dak Lak province to Gia Lai province.
When the car reached the above road section, it was raining and the road was slippery, causing the car to flip over onto the side of the road, killing 3 people on the spot and 1 person dying at the Chu Se District Hospital, Gia Lai Province.
The deceased victims include: Ho Ngoc Quoc, born in 1993, residing in Thang Loi ward, Kon Tum city, Kon Tum province; Van Thi Yen Phuong, born in 1994, residing in village 4, Ia Khuol commune, Chu Pah district, Gia Lai province; Le Thi Truc Ly, about 21 years old, residing in Dai An village, Ia Khuol commune, Chu Pah district, Gia Lai province; Phung Nguyen Tram, born in 2021, residing in Dai An village, Ia Khuol commune, Chu Pah district, Gia Lai province.
In addition, the accident also injured many people who are being treated at the hospital.
The cause of the accident is being investigated by authorities.
