From Golf-Loving Girl to Two-Time National Champion
Every time Chuc An mentions the 2024 National Golf Championship, his eyes light up with pride. “It is still one of the most special moments in my career,” Chuc An recalls. “I burst into tears on the last hole. Not because the pressure was relieved, but because I clearly saw how meaningful all those days of hard work had been.”
For Chuc An, that victory not only helped her make history as the first golfer to successfully defend the most prestigious title in the country, but also affirmed her mettle: "Winning a title is difficult, but defending it is even more difficult. Every time I look back at the images from that day, I remind myself to keep the fire burning and move forward."
Le Chuc An came to golf quite by chance, when she followed her father to the practice field since her elementary school years. At that time, although holding a club was quite difficult with her small figure, Chuc An fell in love with golf from the first shots. "Golf taught me patience and how to overcome failure. There were days when I practiced hard, but I never thought of giving up," she said.
The road to the top was not paved with roses. In the early years of competition, Chuc An faced great pressure for her achievements and also regrettable failures. But it was those missteps that forged her competitive spirit today.

New challenge at FLC Golf Links Quy Nhon
Entering the 2025 Gia Lai National Golf Championship, Chuc An set herself a dual goal: defending her title for the second time and aiming for the 33rd SEA Games. She spent months working with her coach to improve her technique, strengthen her physical strength and most importantly, learn how to control her emotions on the field.
Faced with the opportunity to become the first golfer to win the National Championship three times in a row, Chuc An still maintained his composure: “Defending the title is a big goal, but I don’t consider it a pressure. In any tournament, I learn to enjoy each round, play to my ability and not pay too much attention to the scoreboard. If I do well, the results will come naturally.”
After 3 consecutive seasons taking place at Vinpearl Golf Hai Phong , the National Golf Championship - Gia Lai 2025 will take place for the first time at FLC Golf Links Quy Nhon, a course famous for its beautiful scenery and challenging terrain. "I am very excited because this is the first time I have competed in Quy Nhon. This links course has many unique factors such as strong winds, narrow fairways and bunkers surrounded by sand dunes. This will be an interesting challenge that I need to conquer," said Chuc An.

Aspiration to create miracles at SEA Games 33
If the National Championship is the place to affirm one’s position, then the SEA Games is the stage for Chuc An to represent the national flag. This year, she will compete for the third time in the national team at the regional arena, carrying the hope of raising the level of Vietnamese women’s golf.
“It is always a great honor to compete at the SEA Games. Golf in the region is very competitive, especially in Thailand and Singapore, but we are not afraid. I will try my best to compete in my best form to contribute to the team's achievements," she affirmed.
Assessing the women's team's chances, Chuc An expressed optimism: "Vietnamese women's golf has many young, potential athletes who are reaching their peak. I believe we can create a miracle, like the men's team did at the 32nd SEA Games."
The year 2025 opens with many important milestones. But whether facing challenges or opportunities, Le Chuc An remains loyal to his golf philosophy: enjoy every shot, take advantage of every moment and conquer the peak with persistent effort.
