The main fishing festival is held by coastal fishing villages in Vietnam every June and July of the lunar calendar. The festival shows the fishermen's belief in the miracle of the Whale. In Tuy Phong coastal area, Binh Thuan province, on the 15th day of the 7th lunar month or Thanh Minh day, there is a Cau Ngu Festival at sea. Dozens of fishing boats, sampans, and basket boats, are solemnly decorated with flags and banners, to carry the singing troupes, to the sea to hold a praying ceremony at sea, for fishermen to have smooth sailing... and go out to sea to catch fish with the boat loaded with a full hold. The photo and video contest “Happy Vietnam – Happy Vietnam”, organized by the Department of External Information, Ministry of Information and Communications on the website https://happy.vietnam.vn for all Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and over.
