(Quang Binh Portal) - At noon on April 10, 2025, at Ho Chi Minh Square, Dong Hoi city, Quang Binh province, the award ceremony of stage 7 of the 37th National Cycling Race for the Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup, 2025 took place.

The 37th Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup Cycling Race has 105 athletes from 15 domestic and foreign cycling clubs participating. With 25 stages with a total length of 3,059 km, the race starts in Tuyen Quang province on April 3, 2025 and ends at Thong Nhat Hall, Ho Chi Minh City at noon on April 30.

The organizers awarded prizes to the top 5 of the 7th race.

The 7th stage of the race starts from Vinh city (Nghe An province) through Ha Tinh province to Dong Hoi city (Quang Binh province). This is the longest stage of the race with 197.5 km.

At the end of the race, First place belonged to athlete Nick Kergozou (team 620 Vinh Long Agriculture), Second place belonged to athlete Nguyen Van Binh (Ho Chi Minh City - New Group) and Third place belonged to athlete Nguyen Tan Hoai (Loc Troi Group - An Giang).

In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded sprint prizes 1, 2, 3 and the mountain pass conquest prize to athletes with good performance. The first, second and third team prizes were awarded to the teams: Loc Troi Group - An Giang, Pelio Kenda Dong Nai and Le Fruit Maxxis Dong Nai.

The organizers awarded team prizes to the winning teams of the 7th race.

After 7 races, the yellow jersey was awarded to athlete Loic Desriac (Domesco Pharmacy Dong Thap), the orange jersey was awarded to athlete Nguyen Tan Hoai (Loc Troi Group - An Giang), the green jersey belonged to athlete Nick Kergozou (team 620 Vinh Long Agriculture), the red jersey belonged to athlete Bui Duy Tung (Hanoi) and athlete Dang Van Phap (620 Vinh Long Agriculture) won the white jersey.

On this occasion, the exclusive sponsor of the award, Ton Dong A Company Limited, awarded scholarships worth a total of 20 million VND to primary and secondary school students in Truong Xuan commune (Quang Ninh district).

The 37th National Cycling Race for the Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup in 2025 "Non song lien mot doi" is an event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday; and the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day May 1. This is a sporting event that attracts the participation of many top racers nationwide. The race through Quang Binh province also contributes to promoting the local image to domestic and international friends.
