Ceremony of awarding the Third Class Freedom Medal of the State of the Lao PDR

On the morning of June 11, in Da Nang , the ceremony to present the Third Class Freedom Medal of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to the leaders of Da Nang city took place, for their contributions to the Party's foreign affairs in general and to strengthening the friendly and cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Laos in particular. Member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Secretary, Governor of Sekong Leklai Sivilay, on behalf of Da Nang, presented the medal. Attending the ceremony on the Da Nang side were Head of the Organizing Committee of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Council Tran Phuoc Son and Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi.

According to the decision announced at the ceremony, the President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic decided to award the Third Class Freedom Medal to Comrade Tran Phuoc Son - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Da Nang City for his achievements and contributions in the cooperative relationship and financial aid for the development of Sekong province in the recent past, on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the signing of the Vietnam - Laos Treaty of Amity and Cooperation (July 18, 1977 - July 18, 2022) and the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Laos diplomatic relations (September 5, 1962 - September 5, 2022).

Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Council Tran Phuoc Son expressed his joy and honor to receive the Third Class Freedom Medal from the Lao State and expressed that in his working position, he will continue to make efforts with Lao friends to preserve the close and special solidarity and continue to promote the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Laos, as well as between Da Nang city and Lao localities, including Sekong province, to develop comprehensively and sustainably.
