Sancho has no future at MU.

Jadon Sancho's future at Manchester United is all but certain. After Chelsea refused to activate the buyout clause, the English star is likely to be pushed out again, with Bayer Leverkusen emerging as a potential destination.

According to The Athletic , Chelsea are willing to pay a £5m penalty fee to withdraw from a £25m permanent deal for Sancho. This move opens up opportunities for other teams.

Bayer Leverkusen are planning a replacement for Florian Wirtz, with the German set to leave for up to £100m. Wirtz is being closely pursued by Man City and Bayern Munich.

Sancho is seen as a direct replacement. Compared to Dortmund, Leverkusen has a clear advantage thanks to a Champions League spot next season and a financial boost once the Wirtz sale is successful.

The biggest obstacle is Sancho's huge salary, which is around £250,000/week at MU. The highest paid player at Leverkusen is Nordi Mukiele, who is only on £137,000/week. For the deal to happen, Sancho will have to take a pay cut.

MU lowered Sancho's selling price to under 20 million pounds, an acceptable level for Leverkusen. The "Red Devils" leadership considered parting with Sancho a must to reduce the salary fund.

This could be a positive turning point for all three parties. MU can end their wrong investment, Leverkusen can replace Wirtz, and Sancho can find himself again in the "golden land" that made his name.
