Lexus has just officially introduced the 2026 UX luxury SUV in the US market with some minor changes, and at the same time adjusted the selling price slightly higher than the previous generation.

The new Lexus UX 2026 launched in the US will drop the Eminent White Pearl exterior paint color and replace it with a new Ultra White color. For the F Sport version, customers will have the option of a monochrome Caviar color, creating a sporty and individual highlight. In this update, the 2026 Lexus UX 300h version has a new paint color Ultra White to replace the previous Eminent White Pearl. With the F Sport version, users will have an additional option of monochrome paint color Caviar.
Lexus also says the model gets auto-leveling headlights as a new standard feature, along with themed interior lighting for Premium and F Sport trims. In terms of operation, the Lexus UX 2026 still maintains the hybrid powertrain with a 2.0L 4-cylinder gasoline engine combined with an electric motor, for a total capacity of 196 horsepower. The new engine block enables the car to accelerate from 0-96 km/h in 7.9 seconds when equipped with the optional AWD four-wheel drive system.
However, the press release of the Japanese luxury car brand Lexus caused a lot of controversy when it reused the interior from the 2025 model and left a series of errors. The document claims to include a 12.3-inch digital display, chrome detailing, and a new gear lever – all of which are already available from the 2025 model year, not upgrades for the 2026 model year. It is known that Lexus only changed the year of manufacture in the wording and kept the same information, leading to users easily misunderstanding these as new upgrade additions.
The starting price of the 2026 UX has increased slightly to $38,250 (about more than 999 million VND), while the highest-end version UX 300h AWD F Sport Handling costs $48,240 (about 1.260 billion VND), a slight increase of $170 compared to before. While Lexus isn't making any significant changes to the 2026 UX, the price increase suggests the brand is continuing to maintain the presence of the model without expecting much in the way of sales improvements.
