On the evening of April 28, Tra Vinh province will organize a drone light show and fireworks display to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day. This is the largest-scale event ever held in the locality.
According to information from the People's Committee of Tra Vinh province, the ceremony will be attended by about 1,500 delegates from inside and outside the province. The delegates will join in offering flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs.
On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee will also announce the Prime Minister's Decision recognizing Tra Vinh for completing the task of building new rural areas and receiving the Ho Chi Minh Medal. The highlight of the program is the celebration combined with a theatrical art program, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, the 125th anniversary of the establishment of Tra Vinh province and the 65th anniversary of the twinning between Tra Vinh and Thai Binh .
For the first time in Tra Vinh, drone light performance technology will be used with 11 typical images representing the bond between Tra Vinh and Thai Binh provinces. This strong relationship is also mentioned in the famous song "Hai chi em" by musician Hoang Van.
The program will end with a low-altitude fireworks display. The official ceremony begins at 6 p.m. on April 28 at the Tra Vinh Provincial Convention Center. The drone light and fireworks display is scheduled to take place at 10:15 p.m. and last about 15 minutes.
