Regulations on Hung Kings Commemoration Day Holiday
The 2019 Labor Code clearly stipulates the holidays and Tet holidays that employees are entitled to, including:
New Year's Day: 1 day (January 1st)
Lunar New Year: 5 days
Victory Day: 1 day (April 30th)
International Labor Day: 1 day (May 1st)
National Day: 2 days (September 2 and 1 day before or after)
Hung King's Commemoration Day: 1 day (10th day of the 3rd lunar month)
In particular, for foreign workers working in Vietnam, in addition to the above holidays, they also get 1 more day off for their traditional New Year and 1 day off for their country's National Day.
In 2025, the holiday falls on Monday, April 7. This means that workers will have a day off to honor their ancestors and participate in cultural activities.
