This morning (May 8), the press conference announcing the schedule of the Miss Vietnam 2024 contest took place in Hanoi with the appearance of a group of beauties such as: Miss Thuy Tien, Bao Ngoc, Luong Thuy Linh, Do Thi Ha, Runner-up Dao Thi Hien, Trinh Thuy Linh... In which, 3 Misses including: Luong Thuy Linh, Thuy Tien and Bao Ngoc take on the role of ambassadors of the contest, and are also members of the jury of Miss Vietnam 2024.

Referring to the criteria and differences of Miss Vietnam 2024 compared to other beauty contests, Ms. Pham Kim Dung - Head of the Organizing Committee (OC) of the contest said: "Miss Vietnam is a contest in which each province has 1 contestant participating, in which, 5 centrally-run cities will have more than 1 contestant. Specifically, Can Tho organized the Tay Do Beauty Contest and sent the Top 3 beauties to Miss Vietnam 2024, Binh Dinh also organized the Student Charm Contest and sent the crowned contestants to us. In case the provinces have provincial-level contests and send people to Miss Vietnam National, we will award the sash (sash - PV) to those girls. But for provinces that cannot organize the beauty contest in time, we will select the profiles of the girls to compete in Miss Vietnam National 2024.

I expect more than 63 contestants to come to the final round of Miss Vietnam 2024 taking place in Hoa Binh with the hope of seeing young women with different beauties.

The Miss Vietnam National Pageant respects the unique beauty of the contestants. In this contest, there will be competitions that have probably never been done before, such as competitions that highlight the beauty of work, appearance, speech, and conduct, flower arrangement, and cooking. We will do everything we can to make parents feel secure that their children will not only study well but also perfect other skills with the gentleness and dexterity that their parents and grandparents expect."

Where and when will the final round of Miss Vietnam 2024 take place?

The representative of the Organizing Committee of Miss Vietnam National also shared the schedule of the official competitions in this year's contest. Sharing with Dan Viet , director Hoang Nhat Nam said that the schedule of Miss Vietnam National 2024 is expected to be spread out evenly from May to December 2024 with accompanying activities in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Hoa Binh province.

"The final round of Miss Vietnam 2024 will take place in December 2024 in Hoa Binh province. There will be no evening gown competition on this important night. Instead, the contestants will perform in traditional costumes from the three regions of North - Central - South. The new Miss Vietnam 2024 will be crowned in Vietnamese ao dai," director Hoang Nhat Nam revealed to Dan Viet reporter.

Sharing at the press conference of Miss Vietnam 2024, Mr. Luu Huy Linh - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hoa Binh province said: "The final round of Miss Vietnam 2024 taking place in Hoa Binh province is an opportunity to promote local culture, tourism and economy. With careful preparation and professional organization of the Miss Vietnam National Organizing Committee, I believe that the contest will be a great success".
