Stage 2 of this year's SEA V.League will take place at Ninh Binh Provincial Gymnasium. In stage 1, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team let Thailand make a regrettable comeback in the decisive match, thereby failing to win the championship.

Coming to stage 2, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's team certainly wants revenge. With home field advantage, they are even more determined to do so.

After the first round, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team also learned many valuable lessons. Many positions did not play well and will likely be adjusted by coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet.

Meanwhile, the roles of Thanh Thuy and Bich Tuyen remain unchanged. This duo will certainly continue to play a pivotal role in scoring for the Vietnamese women's volleyball team.

In the opening match of the second leg of the SEA V.League, the home team will meet the Philippines. In all 3 confrontations in 2025, the Vietnamese team had easy victories.

Their next opponent is Indonesia, considered the weakest team in the tournament. Once among the strongest teams in the region, Indonesian women's volleyball is now gradually losing its position.

The decisive match on August 10 will be the match between Vietnam and Thailand. The loss in the first leg will certainly leave many regrets for the Vietnamese girls. It is worth mentioning that in that match, the referees made many controversial decisions, mostly in favor of the home team Thailand.

The team that wins this match will almost certainly win the second round. For the Vietnamese women's volleyball team, it will be the first time in history that they have won the SEA V.League, although the task is not easy.
