Leaders of Thieu Hoa District Labor Federation awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the labor movement and trade union activities of the school sector, school year 2024-2025.
Comrade Hoang Van Luc, Chairman of the Thieu Hoa District Labor Federation, said: The district labor federation currently has 163 grassroots unions with nearly 8,000 union members. To ensure the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers, in recent times, the district labor federation has implemented tasks flexibly and creatively, with the motto of focusing on the grassroots, for the benefit of union members and workers. The district labor federation directs grassroots unions to regularly grasp the ideological situation, life, work, regimes and policies related to workers. Guide grassroots unions to coordinate well in implementing democratic regulations as well as organizing conferences for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers. Regularly inspect and supervise the implementation of regimes, policies, wages, social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance for workers at units and enterprises, grasp the employment situation, recommendations and proposals of workers to have timely solutions. Coordinate with relevant agencies, departments and branches to inspect and monitor policies and regimes related to employees such as: Labor safety and hygiene, salary, bonus, social insurance, unemployment insurance, labor contracts, signing of collective labor agreements...
Along with doing a good job of protecting the rights and interests of employees, the organization of social and charitable activities and care for workers in difficult circumstances are of special concern to all trade unions in the district. The District Labor Federation directs the grassroots trade unions to proactively coordinate and participate with unit leaders and business owners to take care of workers during Tet and supervise the payment of salaries and bonuses to workers. The annual "Tet Sum Vay" and "Worker Month" programs are maintained and organized in many diverse forms, promptly sharing, encouraging, and visiting union members and workers in difficult circumstances. From the beginning of 2024 to June 2025, the trade unions at all levels of Thieu Hoa district have cared for, visited, and supported thousands of gifts for union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of over 4 billion VND. Attention is paid to strengthening the work of taking care of the health and spiritual life of union members and workers. The District Labor Federation signed a cooperation agreement on the program "Welfare for union members and employees" with Medlatec Thanh Hoa Company Limited, providing free health consultation and testing for more than 300 union members, employees and workers. In coordination with the Propaganda and Women's Committee, the Provincial Labor Federation organized reproductive health examinations for more than 200 female union members of Van Ha Garment Joint Stock Company; regularly propagated and coordinated with units to organize periodic health examinations and specialized examinations for union members and employees.
Patriotic emulation movements continue to innovate, attracting a large number of cadres, union members and workers to participate. Typical examples include the emulation movements "Good workers, creative workers"; "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene"; promoting initiatives, technical improvements; "Employees join hands to realize the aspiration of building a civilized and prosperous Thanh Hoa homeland, period 2021-2030"...
It can be affirmed that taking care of the lives, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of employees are proofs that the trade unions at all levels in Thieu Hoa district have truly promoted their effectiveness, becoming a solid spiritual support for employees, helping them feel secure in their work, contributing to building agencies, units and localities to develop more and more strongly.
