Chairman of the City Labor Federation Nguyen Duy Minh acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Hai Chau District Labor Federation in the past term; suggested that the district Labor Federation should develop more welfare programs for union members so that union members can truly benefit.
The District Labor Federation focuses on promoting the development of union members and establishing grassroots unions. In addition to establishing new unions, it is necessary to pay more attention to consolidating, improving the quality and efficiency of current grassroots unions and introducing outstanding union members to the Party for consideration and admission; building a strong and comprehensive union organization.
In addition, it is necessary to proactively innovate the content and form of organizing trade union activities and emulation movements to suit the new situation.
With the theme "Innovation - Democracy - Solidarity - Development" in the 2023-2028 term, the District Labor Federation continues to implement Resolution No. 02-NQ/TW of the Politburo on "Innovation of organization and operation of Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation"; launching 4 major campaigns: "Solidarity with union members and workers to overcome difficulties", "Cadres, civil servants and public employees say no to negativity", "Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods", "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas".
At the same time, promote the development of union members, establish grassroots unions; improve the quality of union members, promote the role of union members in union activities.
The Congress elected a new Executive Committee of the Hai Chau District Labor Union with 15 members. Mr. Lu Trong Phuong was re-elected as Chairman of the Hai Chau District Labor Union for the 6th term, 2023 - 2028.
