City Labor Federation commends Outstanding Good Workers and Creative Workers in 2023

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of August 13, the City Labor Federation held a Conference to commend outstanding excellent workers and creative workers in 2023.

Attending the Conference were comrades: Nguyen Dinh Khang, member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Le Tien Chau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Phong City; Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee; Dao Trong Duc, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city; Le Khac Nam, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; and comrades representing leaders of relevant agencies and units and exemplary union officials and members of the city.

Comrade Nguyen Anh Tuan, Chairman of the City Labor Federation delivered the opening speech at the Conference.

In 2023, the emulation movement " Good workers, Creative workers " has really contributed positively to the economic and social growth of the city and each agency, unit and enterprise. Innovative solutions contribute to increasing labor productivity, reducing product costs, protecting the environment, improving quality and work efficiency, making hundreds of billions of dong in profit and having many practical meanings in social life.

Hai Phong Trade Union is evaluated by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor as one of the leading units in the country in organizing the emulation movement "Good workers, Creative workers" among workers and civil servants, with many valuable lessons in building movements at the grassroots level, in organizing to honor workers, and in closely and effectively coordinating with the City People's Committee.

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang, Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor acknowledged, congratulated and commended the results and achievements of the Emulation Movement "Excellent Labor, Creative Labor" and the activities of the Hai Phong City Trade Union achieved in 2023, along with the exemplary union members, workers, civil servants and laborers who were commended and rewarded at the Conference.

To continue to successfully complete the set goals and tasks, the President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor requested that all levels of trade unions and all cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, and union members of the city continue to promote patriotic emulation movements, focusing on the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers". Regularly coordinate with agencies and organizations of the city to organize for workers, civil servants, and laborers to study to improve their professional qualifications, skills, and foreign languages, creating conditions for workers to research science and technology, and apply them to the production and work process. Focus on building typical examples and typical models; discover and replicate advanced examples in all fields of work; organize timely commendation and rewards. In addition, actively advise and propose to the city leaders and relevant authorities to solve operational issues, contributing to improving the quality of health and spiritual and cultural life of workers, civil servants, employees, and union members of the city.

Individuals were recognized and rewarded at the Conference.

On this occasion, 86 individuals with topics, initiatives, and solutions in work, bringing great economic and social benefits, received the Creative Labor Certificate from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; 125 outstanding workers in 2023 were commended and rewarded by the Chairman of the City People's Committee and the City Labor Federation.

The conference was held in a jubilant atmosphere to celebrate the 95th Anniversary of the Founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28); is one of many major activities of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation towards celebrating the August Revolution and National Day September 2. This is also a continuation of the affirmation of the results and lessons learned in organizing patriotic emulation movements; building, replicating advanced models and praising workers and civil servants with outstanding achievements in the emulation movements of Creative Labor, Outstanding Good Labor 2023.
