The total import and export value of the whole country reached over 470 billion USD.

The total import and export value of the whole country by the end of July 15, 2025 reached 470.63 billion USD, an increase of 16.2%, equivalent to an increase of 65.48 billion USD in absolute terms compared to the same period in 2024.

According to the latest preliminary statistics of the Customs Department, the total value of Vietnam's import and export of goods in the first period of July 2025 (from July 1 to 15) reached 38.21 billion USD, down 7% (equivalent to a decrease of 2.86 billion USD) compared to the results in the second half of June 2025.

The results achieved in the first half of July brought the total import and export value of the whole country up to July 15 to 470.63 billion USD, an increase of 16.2%, equivalent to an increase of 65.48 billion USD in absolute terms compared to the same period in 2024.

Of which, Vietnam's total export value reached 239.19 billion USD, up 14.7%, equivalent to an increase of 30.62 billion USD over the same period in 2024; the country's total import value reached 231.44 billion USD, up 17.7% (equivalent to an increase of 34.86 billion USD) over the same period in 2024.

Also according to statistics from the Customs Department, the export value of goods of foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises in the first period of July 2025 reached 14.83 billion USD, down 13.5%, equivalent to a decrease of 2.32 billion USD compared to the second period of June 2025.

As of July 15, the total export value of goods of this group of enterprises reached 175.8 billion USD, an increase of 17.5%, equivalent to an increase of 26.17 billion USD over the same period last year, accounting for 73.5% of the total export value of the whole country.

The import value of goods of FDI enterprises in this period reached 13.84 billion USD, up 4.4% (equivalent to an increase of 582 million USD) compared to the second period of June.

Up to that point, the total import value of this group of enterprises reached 153.31 billion USD, an increase of 22.7% (equivalent to an increase of 28.34 billion USD) over the same period in 2024, accounting for 66.2% of the total import value of the whole country.

In the first period of July, the trade balance of goods had a deficit of 134 million USD. From the beginning of the year to the end of July 15, the trade balance of goods had a surplus of 7.74 billion USD.
