Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation: Meeting to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of Vietnam Trade Union

At the meeting, delegates reviewed the formation and development process of the Vietnam Trade Union. In particular, the provincial Trade Union has continuously developed strongly over the years, becoming a solid support for workers. Trade unions at all levels in the province have made efforts to effectively implement many activities to care for and protect the rights of workers. During the 2025 Lunar New Year alone, trade unions at all levels mobilized nearly 60 billion VND to care for union members and workers; mobilized more than 90% of enterprise trade unions to sign collective labor agreements; supported the construction and repair of 110 shelters for union members and workers with a total amount of more than 5 billion VND. In addition, patriotic emulation movements have been widely deployed by the trade union, contributing to arousing creativity among workers and laborers...

Implementing the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Confederation of Labor has implemented the merger, streamlining the apparatus, reorganizing the trade union system associated with restructuring the staff; thereby, up to now, the whole province has more than 843 grassroots trade unions with 64,800 union members. In which, the Provincial Confederation of Labor has consolidated from 7 committees to 2 committees with 44 full-time staff; ended trade union activities at the industry and district levels... In the coming time, the Provincial Confederation of Labor will focus on developing the organization, union members, building strong grassroots trade unions; focusing on applying science and technology, digital transformation, innovation in trade union activities; innovating operating methods, building a team of exemplary managers with capacity, qualifications, and prestige, meeting the high development requirements in the coming time; focusing on the work of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers...
