Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations contributes to flood relief

On the morning of November 25, the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations (HUFO) launched and received donations to support people in the Central and Central Highlands provinces affected by storms and floods.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Ho Xuan Lam, Vice President and General Secretary of HUFO, called on HUFO's friendship associations and member organizations, and philanthropists to promote the spirit of "mutual love, helping each other, serving the people", showing affection and responsibility to the community, and promptly helping people in flooded areas overcome difficulties.

As of 10:00 a.m. the same day, HUFO received more than 400 million VND, 200 boxes of noodles and 1 package of clothes.

All will be transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to carry out relief work for people affected by storms and floods.
