Consecutive arrests of 2 cases of illegal cigarette transportation across the border in An Giang

The task force arrested the subject, checked 4 nylon bags on the car, and discovered 1,000 packs of cigarettes inside, with a total value of about 17 million VND. Initially, the subject stated that he was hired to transport cigarettes, and was paid 80,000 VND.

In the same morning, the units discovered in the Thot Not canal area a subject driving a motorbike from the border to Vinh Te canal, carrying many black nylon bags. Upon discovering the working group, the subject abandoned the motorbike and evidence, jumped into Vinh Te canal and escaped. After checking the 4 nylon bags left by the subject, the border guards discovered inside 1,000 packs of various types of cigarettes.
