(Dan Tri) - The two valedictorians of grade 10 in Ho Chi Minh City in 2025 scored 28.75 points in 3 subjects. These candidates are students of Tran Quoc Toan 1 Secondary School and Pham Van Chieu Secondary School.

On the morning of June 23, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City officially announced the 10th grade exam scores in 2025.

The first valedictorian, Lu Tran Quynh Lan, student of Tran Quoc Toan 1 Secondary School, Thu Duc City (math 10 points; literature 9.25 points; foreign language 9.5 points; specialized math 7 points).

This year, the number of 10s has decreased sharply. A quick statistic shows that this year's exam had 524 10s, of which 36 were 10s in math and 488 were 10s in English. Literature recorded 2 candidates with the highest score of 9.5 points.

Last year, the valedictorian of grade 10 in Ho Chi Minh City was Nguyen Minh Anh, a student at Tran Quang Khai Secondary School (Tan Phu District) with a total score of 28.75 points in 3 subjects. He was the valedictorian with 2 scores of 10 in math and foreign language, and a literature score of 8.75.

The three runners-up were students from Tran Quoc Toan 1 Secondary School, Saigon Practicing High School and Dong Khoi Secondary School, all scoring 28.5 points.

This morning, the Department announced the benchmark scores for specialized and integrated 10th grade. Candidates who pass the exam can enroll this afternoon until June 25. If not, they will be transferred to general 10th grade.
