Minister Nguyen Kim Son expressed that in the 80-year process of building and developing the education sector, there have been great contributions from education managers such as former Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Thi Binh. That is the common pride of the entire education sector.

The Minister said that on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the tradition of the Education sector and the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20, the Ministry of Education and Training has organized many activities to express gratitude and honor the contributions of generations of teachers. In particular, on November 18, the Ministry of Education and Training held a groundbreaking ceremony to build and renovate the traditional education area of the Education sector in Khuon Tru village, Yen Nguyen commune, Tuyen Quang province, to express gratitude to previous generations who have made many contributions and sacrifices for the cause of building and developing Vietnamese Education and developing the country.
According to Mr. Nguyen Kim Son, in the new context, education and training have received much attention, investment, and comprehensive development from the Party and State. The entire sector is committed to doing its best to fulfill the assigned goals.
Identifying new goals and responsibilities, Minister Nguyen Kim Son hopes that former Vice President and former Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Thi Binh will continue to care, advise, and impart her passion and intelligence to the education sector in the next stage.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh expressed her thanks and shared with Minister Nguyen Kim Son about the upcoming work such as remuneration policies for teachers, attracting and using talents, international relations, and foreign policies in education. In particular, regarding the issue of teacher recruitment, Ms. Binh emphasized the need to unify a management agency to consistently implement policies.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh emphasized that Resolution 71 of the Politburo has consistently identified education and training as the top national policy, deciding the future of the nation. In the new context, education needs to continue to be comprehensively reformed to meet the demand for quality human resources.
Affirming that the task is very heavy but noble, Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh said that the whole industry needs to try and make efforts to overcome the challenges. On the occasion of Vietnam Teachers' Day November 20, former Vice President, former Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Thi Binh wished the entire education sector and teachers to promote their capacity and devote themselves to the development of the education sector as well as the country.
