Revealing 25 beauties entering the final round of Miss Vietnam 2024

(Dan Tri) - After the final night of Miss Vietnam 2024 in Hanoi, the jury selected the 25 best contestants out of 41 faces to move on to the national final round, taking place in Hue next June.

The results were just announced in episode 5 of the reality TV show Miss Vietnam 2024, broadcast on the afternoon of May 10.

Previously, the national final round in the Northern region took place on the evening of April 20 at Quan Ngua Sports Palace (Ba Dinh District, Hanoi), gathering 41 contestants competing in many performance rounds.

After the competition night, the judges selected the top 25 best candidates to enter the national final round.

The final night of Miss Vietnam 2024 was held in Hanoi after a 4-month journey across 3 regions of the country, from Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang City, Hue City, to the heroic land of Quang Tri and back to Hanoi.

Journalist Phung Cong Suong - Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee of Miss Vietnam 2024 - commented that this is one of the largest-scale final nights ever, clearly demonstrated in the stage design and artistic quality.

This year's Miss Vietnam has added a name-calling performance, with the aim of giving contestants the opportunity to express themselves in front of a national audience.

Unlike previous years, the final round of Miss Vietnam 2024 was considered dramatic and attractive with 2 qualifying rounds. After the contestants performed in bikinis, the Organizing Committee announced the top 32 contestants who continued to the evening gown performance round.

Different from the gentleness of the ao dai and the dynamism of the swimsuit, the evening gown helps the contestants reveal their luxurious and elegant side. According to the Organizing Committee, the girls can choose their own costumes with themes of dew drops, sunshine, lotus flowers and the sky, thereby indirectly sending their own message to the contest.

After the evening gown competition, the second qualifying round took place. From 32 contestants, the Organizing Committee announced the list of top 25 contestants entering the national final round of Miss Vietnam taking place in June in Hue city.

Journalist Phung Cong Suong affirmed that this year's final round has 2 qualifying rounds, which is a very strong innovation of the Organizing Committee.

"This brings drama and competition through each round so that contestants and audiences can feel the pressure and competition in the final round. Second, this shows that the judges are very fair, objective and accurate in their scoring," said journalist Phung Cong Suong.

Sharing about the number of top 25 contestants entering the final round, journalist Phung Cong Suong said that this is a quantitative structure, but the factor that the Organizing Committee always emphasizes is the quality of the contestants.

Journalist Phung Cong Suong commented that this year the contestants are all similar in terms of body shape, beauty, education, age, talent, etc. Therefore, finding 25 outstanding contestants is very difficult. There are also many conflicting opinions among the judges because the boundaries are very thin.

The excellent candidate, who possesses all the pillars: Beauty, culture, intelligence and dedication, will be crowned, win the prestigious crown and become the worthy successor of Miss Thanh Thuy in Hue in June.
